November 10th to March 31st
Many hunters are looking for new spots to go bird hunting. With the embargo of Cuba about to be lifted, we have a number of excellent locations to do just that. In Morón, we offer Duck, Dove, and Quail hunting. You will be hunting these species of Ducks: Blue-Winged Teal, Shoveler, Bahamas Teal, Pintail, and Wigeon. You will be hunting the coastal marsh of northern Cuba from shooting platforms over decoys. On a typical day, most hunters will take around 25 Ducks / day. We hunt Ducks every other day and hunt Dove & Quail on alternate days. This insures that the Ducks stay in the area and you should experience good shooting each and every day.
You will be staying at the Hotel Islazul Morón, where you will be served breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Alternate lodging at Hunter’s Lodge.
On the alternate days, you will hunt wild Quail in the mornings. Most hunters will average 6-10 coveys.
In the afternoons you will Dove hunt, or if you would like to hunt Dove in the mornings and afternoons, we can arrange that as well. Most hunters will shoot on average 6-10 boxes of shells.
Dove and Quail will be hunted with pointer dogs.
